Asset Coordinator

Location: San Jose, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift

Pay: $22.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Track, tag, and maintain records for fixed assets and equipment.
• Process asset acquisitions, transfers, retirements, and disposals.
• Maintain asset management databases and inventory records.
• Conduct physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
• Generate inventory and asset-related reports.
• Coordinate surplus equipment transfers, donations, recycling, and sales.
• Partner with Accounting, Procurement, IT, and other departments on asset-related matters.
• Support audit readiness and compliance with asset management procedures.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, asset management, warehouse operations, property management, or a related field.
• Experience maintaining inventory records and databases.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Preferred

• Experience with asset management systems or property accounting.
• Inventory auditing and reconciliation experience.
• Experience with barcode scanners or inventory tracking systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills.
• Forklift certification or material handling equipment experience.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in office and warehouse environments.
• Frequent movement between buildings and campus locations.
